WS80 Presentation of Prizes to the Essay Winners

The WSICE Essay Competition for last year was quite interesting. Eighty secondary school students, in commemoration of the Nobel Laureates eightieth birthday, were converged from around the country at the Cultural Centre, Abeokuta to slug it out on the topic "Education: Path to Freedom and the Future". The winner of the coveted first prize, Miss Ewongobong Enefiok from Topfaith International Secondary School, Akwa Ibom State went home with a laptop, 300,000 NGN scholarship and a desktop computer for her school. This year's competition themed: JUSTICE AND FREEDOM: ESSENTIAL CONDITIONS FOR HUMANITY promises to be even better. We have already received loads of entries from school around the country. The 81 finalists for this year's essay battle will be shortlisted and published soon.
